In the words of Leonardo Da Vinci - "Art is never finished, it is only abandoned." I have come to the same conclusion recently during work on one of my vector illustations. Vector art isn't something I do commercially it is instead to me at least, a form of meditation, I tend to grab a stock photo with interesting elements and begin tracing the shapes adding level after level of detail before allowing it to come to its conclusion. I guess as it is mostly tracing with the odd bit of ad-lib here and there means it is quite easy for my brain to switch off and empty of all the nagging thoughts that worry me throughout the day. Wow so its 2011 already, and I have once again graced deviant-art with a fleeting visit, to give a few updates before I dissipate into the fabric of the inter-tubes like a tiger into the forest (I don't actually know if tigers live in forests, for all I know they could live in jungle.) So do you like pie? Regardless of the answer you should keep eyes peeled for my 2011 design project collaboration. I have begun collecting 365 pieces of stock art on deviant-art and will be producing once piece of work a day this year from that collection any my own archive of material.
